My husband and I were camping/traveling with friends near Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We all decided to make a day trip to Creede, Colorado to view the fall foliage and the mountain peaks freshly dusted with snow. From Creede, we drove to the Lake City area and came upon the Windy Point Observation Site. We pulled in and the group of us got out of our vehicle to view and photograph the awesome views.
It was a cloudy day about noon, but the sun had just come out enough to light up the distant snow peaks and the golden yellow plants in front of us.
Sharing the experience of this breathtaking view with our friends was truly amazing!
