I earned this shot. I took it late-day on 10/17/20 on the Peek-A-Boo Loop, a strenuous 5.5 mile trail that I hiked at the end of a long day of hiking, being almost 63 years old at the time. There were all sorts of photo ops for the Wall of Windows, but I loved this moment when I looked up to the next switchback to catch fall bloom, beckoning trail, rock formation, and stark blue sky all in one.
