My adult son and daughter-in-law accompanied me on a very hot late evening hike in the Daniel Boone National Forest. After arriving at Dog Slaughter Falls, my son couldn't resist taking a dip in the cold water below the falls. The photo was a challenge in that I wanted a long shutter speed to accentuate the movement of water over the falls but not so slow as to blur the swimmer. I also used the log at the bottom of the frame as a leading line. The photo was taken with an ultra wide angle 14mm lens on June 30, 2021.
