Pigeon Point National Historic Lighthouse

Pigeon Point Lighthouse - A registered, preserved and active national historic lighthouse built in 1871 to guard the Pacific Coast of California. It is also known for the tallest lighthouse on the West Coast of the United States. Living in San Francisco Bay Area, I always look for a place to stargaze with less than an hour of driving regardless of the city light pollution. Thanks for Mother Nature to bring a clear night for us so we can all witness the beauty of Milky Way on the West Coast together with the lighthouse.
