Sequoia National Park

Heather Lake in Sequoia National Park. In the summer the hike to the lake is hot and exhausting but that is quickly forgotten as you immerse yourself into the cool lake waters. This is a must do if you are visiting Sequoia National Park. The trail starts at Wolverton and runs for four miles through beautiful scenery to the lake. If you feel like going further you can push on to Emerald Lake and one mile past Emerald Lake to Pear Lake.
