Camping in the San Juan National Forest is one of our favorite family pastimes. I love watching my children experience nature and being able to see the world through their eyes. I captured this image of my two young sons during the Fall of 2020. They had been throwing rocks into the river when they suddenly paused to look upstream towards the golden light of sunset. It was so sweet how my oldest son rested his hand on his brother as they watched together.
