It heightens the adventure of your hike when you are looking for signs of bears. In the beginning of the Black Bear Trail, we observed a raised site that looked like a buried bear cache with the femur of one of its preys lying upon it. Then farther on, we saw this sign most likely clawed by a bear. I thought it was fitting a bear had chosen that particular sign to mark.
