Though not too far from Phoenix, AZ, the Superstition Mountains Wilderness can be truly rewarding. Hiking to this canyon several miles into the Superstition Mountains makes one aware of the incredible forces that created it, and that continues to change it with each passing season. While near this small creek you can’t help but imagine it’s likely immense power during monsoon floods while looking at the extremely rugged surroundings.
