I frequently hike in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, which is near Las Vegas, NV (really!!!). The scenery is Red Rock is usually beautiful. I spotted this scene one winter day as I was hiking in Rattlesnake Canyon. Most of the year, this waterfall is flowing, but on this cold, winter day it was icy and frozen, and there was snow all around, making the rocks slippery
