I made this photo in the dunes in Florence Oregon in July 2013 during a 17 day road trip across America. I started in Seattle, and ended in Boston, and each day I was able to make a photograph of something entirely different but equally beautiful and inspiring. America is an amazing country, especially thanks to the people who work to maintain and preserve its natural beauty.
