"Vortex." Shot on 1/5/3 behind the dunes Mariposa Dunes in Death Valley. I was hoping to shoot the big dunes but the kids were still out of school and the dunes were covered with footprints. At the rangers suggestion, I wandered behind the dunes to discover a world of untrampled wonder.
Shot with a Canon 5D Mark III and Tamron 28-300 lens, f6.3 at 1/320, handheld. Shot in greyscale, brightness and contrast adjustments done in Adobe Camera Raw.
