Sunset at Moro Rock, Sequoia National Park, 25 Nov 2013. Dark, strong Moro Rock frames the sky just as the sun slips through the clouds and turns on the first night light - a lone "star" planet.
According to husband, I drove like Mario Andretti to get up the mountain in time for sunset. We only had phone camera and know the resolution isn't great BUT it's one of our best "souvenirs" of our trip last week - Golden Gate Bridge/Fort Point, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest visited also.
