The fire lookout tower at Jacob Lake Arizona. Image captured July 14, 2013 in the morning before the thunderstorms developed. This site is listed on the National Historic Lookout Register, www.firelookout.net. The tower is 80 feet tall with a 7 ft x 7 ft observation cab on top. With permission from the attendant , we climbed to the top and enjoyed 360 degree views of Northern Arizona and Southern Utah.
