I hiked The Wave on a beautiful, sunny day. It was a strenuous 3 mile hike in sand and sandstone.Number of tourists is limited by BLM permit to protect the fragile rock formations. I started hiking in Utah and walked to Coyote Buttes North in Arizona, where the dramatic iconic wave rock formations are located.This photograph was taken in a side canyon that few people ever see. The orange, red and gold colors are all nature's artwork./Canyon Kissed by the Sun
