Our group, seen in shadow, was lucky to get four of only 10 permits given that day to see The Wave. The mesmerizing formation is located on the Utah/Arizona border in the Coyote Buttes permit area near the Paria Canyon. Seeing it with your own eyes is the only way to truly understand its mysterious beauty.
