Shot in mid-October, 2013 after an early snowfall in the mountains. This was late afternoon with the sun low in the sky and the clouds rolling in, so the light would come and go very quickly. It was a lucky catch on a beautiful autumn day where we not only enjoyed the company of the always inspiring golden larch of Fall, but also got a great workout hiking up to Headlight Basin and Ingalls Lake.
