After backpacking for nearly 8hrs, we came around a bend to witness this beautiful display of sky, earth, and water. The nights home would lay just below the base of banner peak which looms in the distance. This last mile stretch of our 14 mile day, completely lifted the strain of our seemingly ever increasing weight upon our backs.
