In the middle of the Arizona desert is the Wukoki Ruins Complex. These ruins are part of the Wupatki National Monument. The pueblos were all built by the Anasazi and Sinagua Indians. This is what is left of the Wukoki pueblo. The rocks are all a deep red sandstone color.
