From atop Cadillac Mountain, the first pink and lavender rays of light strike the sillouetted Porcupine Islands to the left and Ironbound Island in the center. These colors would be absorbed by the weathered granite of the park to be enjoyed by all who visited this Northeast gem on the Summer Solstice of 2011
