I am an avid hiker and prepared for weeks for my Mt. Whitney climb. We were on the trail at 4:30am, with headlamps attached to our hats. After a couple of hours of hiking, the sun began to rise and I captured this majestic, spiritual scene. The sunlight lit up the mountains and clouds with a vivid red-orange glow.
