A buffalo had fallen through the ice on Blacktail Ponds in Yellowstone a few days before. This grizzly came in on the carcass right after sunset, backlighting the bear as he moved. The grizzly came in at a sprint from nearly a half mile away and was in full view the entire time. The coyotes and ravens that were on the carcass waited until the absolute last moment to scatter.
