A black bear was gorging it self for some time, then we were spotted, myself and 2 park rangers right behind me. I thought I was going to have to deploy my bear spray. This bear came down the tree in a blink of an eye, so I took the safety off my bear spray, the bear stood there staring for a few seconds and then the bear turned around and took off deeper in the forest. The park rangers and I just looked at each other with a little grin.
