This was a mid-late afternoon moment in the first half of October 2011.
The moments before and after this photo moment did not allow for the sun to be setting the spires afire and hoo-doos aglow as if the ambered light was coming from beneath them from burning embers within the Canyon.
It was a marvelously spectacular day from Sunrise to Sunset... and every Point inbetween
