The sunsets on Ruby Beach are spectacular, as we found out on a recent trip the Olympic Peninsula. My wife has suffered for years with a debilitating brain disease that causes epilepsy and strokes but she is always finding the positive in life, including an intense love of nature. I captured this image of her as the sun was setting at Ruby Beach on a night in July 2013.
