When my wife and I visited Acadia, all the roads leading up Cadillac Mountain were closed to vehicles. Not wanting to miss the Acadia sunrises we had read about, we decided to hike up Cadillac Mountain at 4:00 am. With a flashlight, some courage, and a few porcupines along the way, we made the 2 hour trek up the steep roads.
