Fires were blazing in Idaho in August 2012 creating a general haze over the Grand Tetons. This generally made for bland photos; however, I was blessed with a stunning sunset in Alaska Basin. This was the only spectacular sunset that I experienced in a 7 day trip along the Teton Crest Trail..
