Miracle Rock is a lessor known area even in Grand Junction. It is a one half mile hike up to this 12,000 pound rock that sits precariously on its narrow foundation. I had just sat through one storm and got to this top for this picture when another storm approached. I hurried down and reached the picnic area just as the heavy rain drops started falling.
