Myself and a fellow photographer waited until after sunset to catch the milky way positioned just right over the famous Mobius Arch in the Alabama Hills. This image was created using a 30 second exposure and a flashlight to "paint" the arch with light to be able to see it in the dark, otherwise it would appear as a silhouette.
