One of the best things about trout fishing, particularly on rivers like the Nantahala in North Carolina, is the astonishing scenery at every turn. Cascades and waterfalls, sheer cliffs, crystalline waters and the greenest greens imaginable. The beauty of the trout themselves is, of course, an added bonus. A very welcome, added bonus.
