My family and I were hiking a day trail in Yellowstone and I hadn't seen a animal the entire day. Then this mule deer just stepped out of the woods 20 feet in front of me. He just stood there and stared at me for about five minutes, long enough for me to get this picture. Then he just walk away into the woods as quietly as he had come. It was a magical moment.
