I shot this image of the small arches and an Anasazi Granary on Aztec Butte just as the sun was going down. It was a blustery evening and I was fortunate to get the break in the clouds just as the sun was touching the horizon, it lit up the alcove wonderfully.
The National Park Service has placed a sign at the opening of the alcove noting that it is dangerous to enter. So, I placed my camera on my tripod upside down in the small entrance to the alcove and shot some images without entering.
