John Muir Wilderness

A 15 mi / 2 day backpacking trip to the untouched Lake Dorothy at 10,275 feet from Convict Canyon. This was taken on 9/8/2012 at 7:18am as we climbed out of our tent. No one around for miles except me, my husband and a few curious bears. With zero wind we were able to capture this mirror image of the white and red granite mountains diving steeply into the crystal clear blue lake. When rotating the picture, it's hard to tell what is sky and what is water.
