This picture was taken on a camping trip to Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains. My mom brought my son and grandson jars so they could observe insects. They were busy for hours catching and releasing insects. They caught these fireflies as it was getting late in the day. We took several pictures to actually get one flying, but the experience for the boys was great! Who knew empty pimento jars and the great outdoors could be part of such an important life lesson?!
