Smith Peak is a hidden gem in Yosemite. It's one of the first hikes I took when I moved to California to work in the Sierra. My husband proposed to me on top of Smith and we have spent many wonderful star filled nights up there, alone, with a glass of champagne. This photo was taken on an evening with a beautiful full moon that lit up the landscape; paired with a magnificent golden sunset it was one of my favorite nights of all times with my beau.
