We made a stop in Capitol Reef on our way from Arches to Zion. We were delighted with the unexpected beauty in this park that we had never heard of, and the wide option of hiking trails. We chose a trail with a few "mini" slot canyons, on the helpful advice of a ranger in the Visitor Center. The slot canyons provided the perfect squeeze for fun and lightly challenging exploration. Here my teenage son is enjoying the challenge.
