This photo was taken after climbing Mount Ritter and is the view looking back up at the Southeast Glacier as I was on my way down. We started the decent sometime around noon and at this point the afternoon sun was causing lots of glacier melt. This has to be one of the most beautiful areas I have gone hiking in and I can't wait to go back and climb Banner.
