The White Tree. Taken early morning May 9, 2013. When the sun dipped into the meadow south of the Merced River I was privy to many amazing scenic displays. I had already left to the north side of river when the light caught this stark, leaf-less white bark tree alone with a dramatic dark gray slate background (B&W print is sweet). I ran back across the Sentinel Bridge to grab this shot racing past a pro photographer shooting the chapel. The pro came over to shoot the tree when I was done.
