Half Dome Noir. Taken midmorning May 9, 2013 (pretty much where the webcam sits). It was not until my third day in the valley Half Dome revealed itself from the cloak of rain clouds. Having to leave the park for home, I was left with only backlit morning opportunities with the Park’s most iconic formation. Consequently, my shots were left with blue casts but when I print this one as a black and white, Half Dome transforms into character from a 1940s mystery movie.
