Bridal Veil Falls. Taken late morning May 9. After two days of cloudy-rainy conditions the early morning offered a short break in the weather, however, darker clouds began returning by mid-morning. As I was leaving the Park around noon, the effect of these clouds softened the normally harsh midday light giving Bridal Veil Falls the appearance of a painting done with a palette knife to the naked eye. The rising slope of the ridgeline seem to invite the clouds into the valley.
