This picture was taken during my first visit to the Grand Canyon. I was so mesmerized by the Canyon's beauty that I just sat and looked out at it for what seemed like hours. I decided to take a picture so I could always remember my visit. I set the timer on my old camera, situated it on the ledge behind me and returned to my seated position. The photo is now framed in my house. I stop and look at it from time to time and can still picture that marvelous view from the South Rim.
